A Bold Pivot to Southeast Asia

Legendary organisation OG Esports, winners of The International 2018 & The International 2019, has entered a new chapter by signing an all-Filipino Dota 2 roster and relocating its focus to the Southeast Asia region. Para sa OG, hindi lang ito roster change, ito ay pagpapamilya sa SEA Dota scene. This move is aimed at leveraging SEA’s depth of talent and the community’s passion for the game.

Why the Philippines, Why Now?

OG’s decision reflects both strategic ambition and respect for the region’s esports culture. The Philippines has always been a passionate Dota community, and OG is betting on the combination of local firepower and global pedigree. Dota sa Pilipinas, hindi lang laro, kundi pagkakakilanlan. According to co-owner Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, SEA has “always felt like home.”

Road Ahead and Expectations

The new OG roster is set to debut at PGL Wallachia Season 6 from 15-23 Nov 2025, facing top international teams for a USD 1 million prize pool. Mataas ang banga,  hindi lang para sa standout wins kundi para ipakita na may ambisyon din ang SEA. OG wants to rewrite its legacy and bring the next major trophy to the region.
